Flowers still aren’t as popular at Christmas as they are for other occasions, but each year more and more Christmas flowers are sent in the UK, particularly the seasonal poinsettia.
Flowers make beautiful Christmas gifts, florists create wonderful festive bouquets in reds, golds, greens and whites, and they can really brighten up your home.

Halloween isn’t the most popular time of the year to send flowers, but there are some beautiful Autumn flowers available.
I especially love the colours of the Autumn Falls bouquet from Clare Florist, I’m sure anyone would be happy to receive that. It would look great next to your scary pumpkin carving!

Did you know that the 6th of July is National Kissing Day? If you’ve got your eyes on someone and hope to grab that important first kiss why not send them some romantic roses to get them in the mood?
National Kissing Day first started in 1995, and although it’s never really taken off this could be the year that it does. So get smooching!

Any comments welcome!

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, the 22nd of March, so remember to order your flowers this week. You can compare the prices of Mothers Day bouquets at major online florists on our Mothers Day Flowers page.
With it being spring, Mothers Day bouquets often contain spring flowers, such as tulips, and the colour choices are often pinks and yellows. Don’t feel like you need to stick to these – if you want to make a statement you could send a beautiful rose bouquet with twenty softly scented assorted pink roses.
